(Baylor -3, Total 145) — [private] Part of the Texas problem lately is that the Longhorns often don’t have the kind of three-point power necessary to keep pace with more sharpshooting opponents. Such is the case against Baylor, which brings long-range bombing in the persons of Tweety Carter and LaceDarius Dunn and has the kind of defensive intimidator in the middle (Michigan transfer Ekpe Udoh) who will force the ‘Horns outside more than they intend. Remember – Baylor is about defense also now (37.8% FG’s allowed). Texas, ranked #1 at one point, is barely trying to hold on to a national ranking, and has covered only three of its last 17 games.
