MIAMI-FL (+7) vs. TEXAS (Total 140.5) — Jack McClinton exploded all over Saint Mary’s in round one of this tournament, with 38 points - 32 of them in the second half. But we don’t forecast another outburst like that one. And Miami is hard-pressed to find complementary scoring weapons. They don’t figure to do a lot of business against the Texas front line featuring Damion James and Connor Atchley. And you can bet McClinton is going to expend some energy on the defensive end, dealing with the likes of point guard DJ Augustin and shooter AJ Abrams, who scored 26 points against Austin Peay in the opener. Sure, it would be a feather in the cap of Miami coach Frank Haith, an ex-assistant of Rick Barnes, to get a win over his former mentor. But Texas is a cut above right now.
