COLLEGE BASKETBALL — February 27
BAYLOR at OKLAHOMA
(Baylor -4.5) — Historical trends are certainly on Oklahoma’s side, as they have won 24 of the last 25 meetings against Baylor. But this is a different Baylor team, now that Ekpe Udoh (10.3 rpg, 4.3 blocks) is manning the paint and adding a distraction for opposing defenses while three-point marksmen Tweety Carter and LaceDarius Dunn operate. The bad news for Sooner fans is that coach Jeff Capel pretty much threw up the white flag on the season by shelving top scorer Wilie Warren so that he could rest up for the Big 12 tournament, which is OU’s only possible ticket into post-season action. Five straight losses for the Sooners, with the last four by double digits.
