COLLEGE BASKETBALL — March 31
CBI Championship Series - Game 1
BRADLEY (+5.5) at TULSA (Total 140.5) — Bradley certainly has a potentially high-octane backcourt with Daniel Ruffin running the show for shooters Andrew Warren and Jeremy Crouch, who had 27 points in the semifinals against Virginia. But Ruffin can sometimes be turnover-prone (four or more turnovers in five of the last nine games). And Tulsa carries a nice defensive edge into this game, in the person of shot-blocking big man Jerome Jordan, who rejects an average of 3.6 shots per game. The Golden Hurricane has limited opponents to 41% shooting from the field, and made Houston take some very errant shots from beyond the arc (Cougars were only 32%). Ben Uzoh has scored 22 points in consecutive games, and he knows how to attack the basket (25 free throws in last two), which could spell trouble for Bradley team that doesn’t defend the paint all that well.
