The shortage in personnel may be catching up to them, judging from back-to-back home losses to the Knicks and Grizzlies. Still, there’s no denying that flushing out a lot of the losers, including the “Big Three,” brought some new life to the team and they’re playing with additional spirit. Andray Blatche is putting up All-Star numbers, with 25 points and 11 rebounds per game in his last six. This may be a good time for them too, because the Nets, at 6-52, are just getting over the shock of beating the Boston Celtics yesterday. Keep in mind that New Jersey is still 3-25 SU and 9-19 ATS at home.
