(Nuggets -7.5, Total 207.5) — [private] Oklahoma City has to go down as the most surprising story in the NBA this year, and Scott Brooks has to get plenty of votes for coach of the year. The Thunder is nipping at the heels of the Nuggets right now, and so the idea of Kevin Durant (and MVP candidate) and Company being dispatched easily shouldn’t be on many minds. OKC has won twelve of its last 14 games, and has covered six of the last seven meetings. The difference between Durant and Carmelo Anthony may be that Durant gets his teammates involved a little better; The last time the Thunder visited Denver, they had just come off a game against Cleveland the night before and still got the cover. Don’t discount this team that has shot 50% or better in each of the last three games.
