PRO BASKETBALL — February 21
CLEVELAND at ORLANDO
(Magic -2, Total 195.5) — Cleveland, which lost the Eastern finals to the Magic last season, has put together two winning efforts against them so far, winning by nine points both at home and on the road. Of course, Orlando is missing some things, namely the presence of Hedo Turkoglu, who simply did a lot of things right. The Cavs have not come out quickly after the All-Star break, falling on a gut-wrenching game against Denver in which they did not make their free throws (50%), then having to come back the next night against Charlotte, which fashions itself a giant-killer and certainly got that accomplished. After a day of rest, this may be the spot for them, as Dwight Howard, who has ripped through the Pistons and Mavs for 62 points and 33 boards since the hiatus, has just 30 and 18, respectively, in the two meetings with Cleveland. New acquisition Antawn Jamison had an awful 0-for-12 in his Cavalier debut, and it’s safe to say that the two-time NBA All-Star is too good a player to let that keep happening. Remember that Cleveland has covered all five times this season when getting points.
