NY METS (Figueroa) at LA DODGERS (Kuroda) (Line: Los Angeles -135/+115, Total 8.5) — Hiroki Kuroda, the big-money free agent from Japan, has been giving the Dodgers some solid work. He was very strong against Florida in his last start, going seven innings without walking one Marlin batter and giving up five hits. Nelson Figueroa has been no pushover for the Mets, as he is filling in while injuries plague the starting staff. But Los Angeles is hot, winning nine of its last ten games, and the Mets are certainly not at their best on the road, winning just seven of their 16 games.
